Per the West Orchestras Handbook:
Music students are some of the most busy individuals in our buildings; they are scholars, athletes, future leaders, maintain jobs, and do so much more. When it comes to after school rehearsals and concerts, attendance is required! Orchestra is like a team sport -- when one person is missing, everyone suffers. If conflicts arise, talk to Miss Boehm as early as possible so there is time to come up with a solution; at minimum, conflicts should be sent through an email one week in advance.
